Our formulations are full spectrum, which means that in addition to the popular CBD compound, CBG, CBN and CBC area also present. Additionally there is a tiny trace – the under 0.3% of THC in the formulation as well. The magic powers of the cannabinoid compounds are being studied how they work with the endocannabinoid system, but some believe they all work better together.*
CBD interacts with your endocannabinoid system – everyone has one. It’s all over you body and consists of receptors located within the central nervous system. The ECS was only discovered in the 90s, and how it actually works is also being researched. In a nutshell, these receptors detect imbalances and alert the system when things aren’t going smoothly. CBD can be used to communicate with those receptors.
You would probably not be here if you hadn’t heard of CBD. But you might not be aware that for some people to feel the effects*, they need to take CBD consistently for an X amount of time. Why? Because your body likes routines. And establishing a routine helps the body distribute the CBD where it needs to go.
* As always please consult with your physician before trying CBD products.
Establishing a regimen is key. Most people start out taking the same amount every day – upon waking up, pre-workout, post-workout, at bedtime. Pick a time and stick to it.
We recommend taking an oil based formulation to start out with, which will help regulate the amount of CBD throughout the day. Keeping a journal of the amounts you take will really help you keep track.
It’s also great to supplement an oil based tincture (long lasting, but kicks in slower) with our nano formulation. The Nano is fast-acting, requiring you to take less, but its effects do wear out quicker. The Nano can also be added to beverages, as it is water soluble.
If you are looking for a pre-measured dose, we recommend Wicked Wedges, our Nano CBD gummies.
Healthline put together a wonderful little guide, check it out here.
If the amount you’re taking is working, try taking a little less. If your body receives a large amount of CBD, but doesn’t need that much, it just wastes it. A little goes a long way.
